We keep very little. And we do nothing with it.

Most software wants more of your data. We want less. Donors keeps only what a fundraising CRM needs to do its job — and we don't sell it, advertise with it, or train AI on it. Here's exactly what that means.

What we keep

The contact details you enter: name, organization, email, phone, and mailing address.
The gifts, receipts, and activity you record — because that's the CRM doing its job.
For your team: name, email, and role, plus secure sign-in data (stored only as a hash).

That's the whole list. No advertising IDs, no profiles, no data bought about your donors.

What we never do

Never sell, rent, or trade your data — to anyone, ever.
Never advertise with it, or hand it to data brokers.
Never train AI models on your donors' information.
Never store card numbers — payments run through Stripe; we keep only a transaction reference.

It stays in Canada.

Donors is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Canada — your donor data, and its encrypted backups, stay in Canadian data centres. That's the right home for Canadian donors' information, and it supports your own obligation to keep charity records in Canada.

This marketing site counts page views with Fathom, which uses no cookies and collects nothing personal — that's why there's no cookie banner to click. Inside the Donors app there's no third-party tracking at all.
